Raine Campbell and her friends arrive to team up with another school to tackle the Magical Multitudes Project, ready for a little fun during the school break. Dark magic is bent on destroying the school. A Drow princess is gaining powers faster than she knows what to do with them. Her best friend, a Jasper Elf, can’t remember who she is, and her boyfriend turns into a wolf at night and runs with his pack. By day, they’re trying out for the school play, worrying about who’s going to the fall dance, and oh yeah, are excited about Halloween when the dead can finally talk to the living again. Just your typical teenager in America when magic returns.

Most teenagers have to deal with grades, school dances, and curfews. At the School of Necessary Magic, Alison and her crew have school elections, a musical to put on, a tournament in Louper to win while learning how to use their growing magical powers - and a sudden outbreak of werewolves. All before third period and a class on potions.

Alison, the Drow princess, can’t even make it back to the School of Necessary Magic for her junior year without tripping across trouble hunting for her. Underground bullet trains, battles with dark magic, growing dragons, Louper tournaments, school dances, and job fairs. Growing up magical can be tough on a social life. Thank goodness she’s got her friends beside her.

Brownstone Security is hired for what should be a relatively simple job. Protect a courier transporting a valuable painting. Nothing about the job is as it seems, and Alison ends up working with the FBI’s first witch on the case. Can they figure out what’s going on and settle a score before the painting is lost for good? But that’s not all - the CIA is looking into the Tapestry and who they might be allied with.

It’s the beginning of the end. The other Drow princess and queen just don’t know it...yet. It’s business as usual for Brownstone Security. Drow threats or not, they still have work to do. Agent Latherby requests Alison’s help on an off the books assignment that is more personal in nature. The government has basically said to leave it be, but after Alison and the team find out what it is, they can’t refuse. It’s time to find a ghost ship and any survivors left from more than 100 years ago.

Alison and her team have to travel across the world to protect Abigail Wilson, CEO of Aeternum, as she negotiates for mining rights of a mysterious crystal. Drysi Jones comes along for the ride. The simple escort mission turns deadly. They aren’t the only ones interested in the crystal’s power. Dark wizards attack…again. Haven’t they given up yet? Nothing like getting tested by a hail of ammo to see if Drysi is a good fit for Brownstone Security. Together, they must discover the truth behind the crystal’s origin.

Lily Antony is a young witch playing in a very dangerous treasure hunt. She’s got to follow the clues her mom left behind after her disappearance trekking the world. Maybe even put the pieces of her life back together with each one. First stop - get that cute guy Romeo to help her out. It never hurts to have a werewolf along for the ride. Especially since Lily thinks her mom is still alive - and no one else does. Doubters are going to hate...and chase Lily and Romeo all over the world. Sounds like these doubters have something to hide?

It’s not like Seattle will burn down because Alison isn’t there, right?

With only a creepy stone idol as their next clue, Lily and Romeo are off again. This time the clues will take them to Guatemala’s healing temple of Ichacál, where the situation becomes life or death. Someone’s been kidnapping magical children from small villages. The locals don’t know who it is or how to stop them. Lily and Romeo stop in their tracks and instead set out to find the lost children.

Another magical clue takes Lily Antony to a burned-down house in Colorado with her fave werewolf by her side. The house might be ruined, but the magical message hidden in the walls remains. Someone wants to keep Lily from finding out about her world-traveling mother, but Lily has a Winnebago and will travel, and the truth is going to come out. Lily and Romeo decipher her mother’s message and end up back on the road - this time heading to Mexico and a potion witch with a few secrets of her own. The witch, having made some bad deals, is in trouble herself.

CIA Agent Daniel Winters is having a bad day. Scratch that. A bad week. After being questioned by Internal Affairs - and hesitantly cleared - he’s on his way to Paraguay. New day. New mission. Can Raine Campbell finally show her future boss - the FBI - what she can do, or will it all go sideways? The criminals think they can convince Raine and her friends to help them. But Agent Connor has taught her well. Their junior year gets even more challenging when students’ secrets are exposed. Do Raine and friends help their fellow students or turn them in? Should they follow the rules or do what’s right?

The road trip in the Winnie continues to Otiylo, Greece, but Lily and Romeo are being followed, and a trail of death and trouble lies behind them. Is that strange coin she holds a magical GPS? Nothing can keep Lily from searching for her mother, but she’s going to need help from a local coven.
