In this personal account of the Civil War, William G. In a masterstroke of plot, Stevenson has the excited but gullible Squire recruit a crew made up, mostly, of the very crew of Buccaneers and Pirates who plundered this treasure in the first place, under the Captaincy of Flint! They are now led by the one-legged, cunning, and charismatic, Long John Silver.

In Treasure Island, the story starts when a drunken sailor named Billy Bones arrives at the inn owned by Jim Hawkins' father. Bones stays at the inn for some time without paying his bills. He askes Jim, a 12-year-old boy, to watch for his former shipmates who are after his valuables. When shipmates eventually arrive and Bones mysteriously dies, Jim opens his chest and finds a treasure map.

When Gabriel Utterson takes charge of the will of his good friend Dr Jekyll, in which the doctor leaves everything to the mysterious Mr Hyde, he's alarmed at what appears to be a recipe for murder. Over the following months, he investigates Mr Hyde until he uncovers a horrific murder. What's the relationship between his friend and the murderer, and can Utterson save the doctor?

An old friend of Dr. Jekyll's, lawyer Gabriel John Utterson, investigates odd occurrences that are linked to Mr. Hyde.
