This book is a collection of true short stories that captures the childhood adventures of a mischievous boy who grew up in South Georgia. Several of the stories are near-death adventures, and each story has a value-based message that reinforces the importance of great decision-making in young people. The author acknowledges that he does not understand why God has chosen to continue his life, even though there have been multiple near-death experiences.

Soldier Stories (Volume II) is for young officers and noncommissioned officers, and it makes a great gift for anyone interested in military life. All the stories are true. In some cases, the names have been changed, but every story is true. I hope you will take the time to listen to these stories. Some are shocking, some are funny, and some will leave you wondering how this now-retired Lieutenant Colonel ever made it to retirement.
