Steel Corps

Staff sergeant Bea “Mic” Michaels and her black-ops team Steel Corps do what others cannot: They execute missions unbeknownst to the public they ardently defend. Over time, their orders begin to chafe and questions arise. Around every turn is another trial threatening to rip their family asunder. From Colombia, to Mexico, to Russia, and beyond, each mission sucks them deeper into the darkness.

I’m Staff Sergeant Michaels, the leader of Steel Corps. We’re the best America has to offer and we’ve been dealt a heavy blow. I’m fighting to recover; struggling to be the leader my men expect me to be - need me to be. It’s been five days. Five days since my men rescued me from that basement in Mexico. My body is healing and I’m stronger than ever - eager to go to Russia and end this terror haunting me. Secrets burden our team like lead weights around our necks. We must strip them free and bind ourselves together anew.

Christmas in Scotland. After this past year, I wasn’t sure I would ever celebrate another holiday. Jordon was sleeping behind me and out the window I saw not just the snow covered landscape but our future stretching out into the distance. My luck had always been shit, just as I think we can get on with our lives and new business, the past comes back to rear its ugly head and piss me off. The Russians just don’t know when to leave well enough alone. Instead of licking their wounds and going back to Hell, they think they’re going to come after me and mine.
