The Devoid

There are whispers of a monster that should not exist. It lurks in the dark and waits for the order to kill. Brought in from the wilderness, Sephron enters civilization with no memory of his past. He joins an academy befriending a mischievous bookworm, a girl with a tail, and a young chef with big dreams. However, his abilities to see and manipulate energy set him apart from the rest. When Sephron learns of the existence of this monster, he and Ian set out to find the truth; they soon discover more than they could have ever imagined.

A desperate cry has come out of Denton, requesting Sephron’s aid. War is brewing, and to put an end to a lord’s dangerous greed, Sephron must infiltrate a hostile, desert city and rescue an unlikely prisoner. Soon, he finds himself trapped inside the walls of Galtor surrounded by cruel and violent soldiers. But he is alone in this venture, and the entire fate of Rhayadera rests in his hands.
