Chasing the Wild follows Layla as she’s trying to make the ends meet. Circumstances has her snowed in together with her ex-boyfriend’s dad at his ranch, Devil’s Peak, where he has given her a job for the next 8 weeks so she can finish her education as a vet.

The tension was off the charts and palpable from their very first meet. The forced proximity mixed in with being cut off from the rest of the town due to the weather conditions was scorching hot! I cannot get over the lust and need to have each other, and then the longing- the longing! This is how you do longing and pining for each other! Perfect!
I loved the forbidden element and Colt was daddyyy! That man. The protective nature and possessiveness over Layla. The way he melted for her and was willing to do anything for her- I’m swooning!
I loved the pace, the push and pull, the balance of plot and spice. Once again it’s top tier quality spice with palpable tension. The characters are complex and complicated which made me connect to them easily.
I’m thoroughly enjoying this series!

This is an age gap, and quite a large one. Layla is in college and Colt is her ex's dad. She ends up working for him through a string of events and I think we all know where this goes.
This is steamy and emotional and just overall a fun time.
The audio was well done and I enjoyed the narration.
