I needed this book. Character development and storyline ‘took me away’. Was able to immerse myself in this and enjoy this like a great movie. Finding this was like finding someone that loved me… very comforting.

This is a great book. The story line is very good, it has a lot of very unique things about. Lots of hot steamy times throughout. The love Nero and Payton have is wonderful, they both has hard pasts and deserve to get to the HEA! Narration was great! I am picky about narrators sometimes as I feel it either makes or breaks a great book. Both male and female characters were awesome! Highly recommend. I’m onto the next book, King…..

This narrators did an amazing job bringing Nero and Payton to life. this is dark romance but not overly depressing. Payton is a sweetheart and is perfect for balancing Nero

Obviously Nero is not a depiction of a healthy man in real life but that’s why we read these fictional stories!

I thoroughly enjoyed this audible. Didn't know what to pick as my favorite scene because entire book was captivating and full of suspense. Loved how Peyton blossoms from such a meek soul to captivating woman with Nero's love and guidance. If the other audibles from the Alliance series are as good as this one. I know I will have a great set of books to add to collection in library for repeat listening. WELL WORTH PURCHASE! This was my first book from S. J. Tilly and won't be my last! Will scope out her other books.
