Well written, fantastic narrators, good storyline, and like-able characters. Well done!
My only issue with the book is that it wasn’t long enough (for me); I tend to like a 10+ hour book with some more character development and chemistry. As I look through the other books in this series it seems they are all under 7-8 hours like this one is.
Still 100% worth a credit. Don’t pay full price for the book though because it’s like $28.

I am in love with the Roman. It is a great listen I recommend this if you are into cheesy happy ending romance stories

I have recently become a major fan of mafia dark romance books. I have read so many that I am to the point of feeling like they all have the same story line just different character names. Especially when it comes to the main female character. She is seemingly always pegged as some dumb as a box of rocks, whinny, overly emotional, insecure person that hates the guy in the beginning then falls head over heels in love with him by the end. This book was not any of that in the least. It was a breath of fresh air for me. I loved all over the characters and the storyline as well. I also loved that the female lead was a strong, confident, and intelligent woman who did not allow herself to be pushed around. I hated for this story to end but I am definitely looking forward to reading all of the books in this series. This was my first book from this author but definitely not my last.
