This story pick up from Cades POV directly following the events of book one, Pretty Boy. Cade is sporting a shiner from trying to kiss his very taken best friend, and Liam has just moved in with his boyfriend. Cades Mom suggests his stepbrother Nick, who has never gotten along with him, move in to help with rent.
There are things about Nick that Cade doesn’t know, and also things about their parents that he doesn’t know.

I think it’s a nicely done step brothers, enemies(ish) to lovers, forced proximity, and a bit of hurt comfort story.

The duel narration is nice and Iggy and Alexander are pure pros. Love listening to them.

I loved the first book, Prettt boy, and was not let down with this one. I love the possessiveness and neediness of the men. the light touch on depression, self harm and anxiety was handled well in my opinion, and that's coming from someone who struggles with those issues.

I do wish there was more sex in the book like the first one, I'm a slut for smut.
