Locked out of her cabin in a snowstorm? Check.
Rescued by a brooding mountain man who lives alone in the woods? Double check.
One bed and undeniable chemistry? Oh, hell yes.

Grace came to the mountains to write and heal her broken heart-not to melt under the intense gaze of Ethan, a reclusive alpha who knows exactly how to make her forget why she swore off men. But when a blizzard traps them together, their explosive attraction becomes impossible to ignore.

He's dominant. She's ready to surrender. And neither of them is prepared for what happens when the snow melts and real feelings emerge.

A steamy instalove novella with a possessive mountain man, snowed-in forced proximity, and a guaranteed HEA!

Forced Proximity

Grace seeks solitude in the wilderness to overcome heartbreak and writer’s block, but instead finds herself snowed in with Ethan, a guarded man who prefers isolation. As the storm keeps them confined, emotional tension builds and forces both characters to confront their vulnerabilities.

Cordelia Kent and Dane Beaumont delivered such a compelling performance. Their voices perfectly captured the emotional intensity and quiet longing between the characters.

I originally received book #2 (Hot Blooded) as a gift and came back to listen to this book—and I’m so glad I did because it absolutely did not disappoint.

A short, heartfelt story that packs an emotional punch.

Debut release, you say. It's definitely a promising start.

It's over-the-top instalove with a bias towards a sensual exploration between Ethan Everett and Grace. We get glimpses of their back stories, helping to paint the picture of how each is a little bit damaged, lost.

I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. Unsurprisingly, the dominant finds a way to tick me off at some point, but I do like how he repents. 😘 Either way, I'm happy and plan on checking out the next book.

Revisiting in audio. The narrators are Dane Beaumont and the author, Cordelia Kent. They are both new to me. I really like them, especially in duet. 🎧💙🎧

Duet narration - Dane Beaumont & Cordelia Kent
Great narration. They both performed well.

This is a fast paced short novella that packs a punch. She’s in the woods to write her next book and find herself in need of assistance when he finds her.

They spend one great night together and then can’t get over each other. This is a low angst story that is a quick and easy read. A great pallet cleanser.

My first book by this author and honestly? A solid win.

Grace heads to an isolated cabin to write and recover from a breakup… only to end up locked out and yelling into the woods. Ethan steps in like a warm, unexpected lifeline, and the chemistry between them sparks immediately.

Grace is rediscovering parts of herself she had to shrink in her last relationship, and Ethan meets her with intention, softness, and that “I see you, fully” energy. The instalove works here cozy, believable, and emotionally grounded. Spice sits around 3 peppers: warm, not overwhelming.

Audio: Cordelia Kent shines. Dane Beaumont is a little more reserved in the spicy moments, but overall the narration is enjoyable.

Overall: A cozy, chemistry heavy, snowed in romance with a tender MMC and a heroine learning to want more for herself.
