The narrators bring the characters to life with so much emotion and chemistry. If you pick this one up, definitely choose the audio version. The story itself has plenty of heat and intensity without ever feeling over the top. The FMC is innocent: she falls for the MMC but ultimately walks away. Then the story becomes complicated. It's frustrating, and very human. And when she returns? That moment hits even harder because of the MMC feelings.

Fantastic narration.

The characters are intriguing and their story is a joy to listen to.
I love the spice and that is short fast paced, great to mix in amongst my other longer books.

Overall , This was a fun, short and sweet with spice novella. Super easy listen if you’re looking for something short and spicy.
