What made the experience of listening to Shade the most enjoyable?

Ruined by narration

Who was your favorite character and why?

Shade he's the perfect alpha male

How could the performance have been better?

Was disappointed that Elizabeth Hart who narrated the previous books didn't narrate this one. Carly Robbins used the same nasally voice for all the male characters so there was no distinction from one to another they all sounded the same.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

When I first started this book I wasn’t to excited about it being almost a retelling of Shade and Lilly’s story just from Shades point of view. But listening to the whole book and especially the epilogues had me in tears.

The whole series so fast as seen through Shade's eyes. I'm not a man that cries but this one had me laughing, angry, and yes even crying. Highly suggest!!

I’m very disappointed with this book. It’s simply a recap of the Last Riders books, waste of a credit. The narrator is terrible at changing her voice for other characters, it was hard to listen to her.
