I am a writer and editor living in the Chicagoland area. Having spent my whole career in publishing, I offer the book "Write Better" on the craft, the art and the spirituality of writing nonfiction. My most recent volume is a memoir on my wife, Phyllis, "She Teaches Me Still." My books, several coauthored with Phyllis, have sold over 750,000 copies. For over forty years I worked at InterVarsity Press, the bulk of that time as Associate Publisher, Editorial. One passion is the gospel of Mark which I have taught for fifteen years to students and staff of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. I also founded the Christian Book Editor’s Conference which was the precursor to ECPA’s Pub U training seminar. In addition, I am the proud grandfather of fifteen terrific children who get as much of my time as I can manage. I blog regularly at AndyUnedited dot com.
