Anne Kertz Kernion is a dynamic speaker and wellness teacher, drawing from several areas of research to provide tools to help us live healthier, happier lives. Her writings offer simple, practical ways to decrease stress, increase awareness and joy, and boost our physical, mental, and cognitive health. She is an enthusiastic practitioner with a diverse academic background, frequently presenting workshops and weekend retreats on the intersection of neuroscience, positive psychology and spirituality to groups around the United States and Australia. Anne founded her greeting card company, Cards by Anne, (www.cardsbyanne.com) in 1986, after leaving her engineering job. Cards by Anne, hand-designed in calligraphy and ink and printed on 100% recycled paper, has sold millions of inspirational cards, magnets and bookmarks to customers throughout the English-speaking world. A former Division 1 athlete, she continues to enjoy running, hiking and cycling, while also teaching a weekly yoga class. She and her husband Jack live in Pennsylvania and have three adult children and six grandchildren.
