Benoît Charles-Lavauzelle is the Group CEO of Theodo, a leading technology consultancy he cofounded with Fabrice Bernhard and scaled from 10 people in 2012 to 700 people in 2022. Based in Paris, London, New-York and Casablanca, Theodo uses Agile, devops, and Lean to build transformational tech products for clients all over the world, including global companies—such as Biogen, VF Corporation, SMBC, TF1, Dior, Safran, BNP Paribas, and Carrefour—and leading tech scale-ups—such as Mirakl, Dashlane, and Qonto. Recognized as a pioneer in applying Lean thinking principles to the tech industry, Benoît has made this approach a strategic pillar of Theodo’s culture. His methodologies and achievements are highlighted in 'Learning to scale at Theodo Group' by Catherine Chabiron and Régis Médina (2023). With Theodo, Benoît has experienced how technology and lean principles can empower people and make organizations more ingenious. Passionate about sharing these learnings further, he wrote “The Lean Tech Manifesto” with Fabrice Bernhard in February 2024, his first book published as an author. Benoît has also written the preface for two other books on Lean : “Learning to Scale” by Regis Medina and “Lean Sensei” by Michael Ballé. Benoît is also an active member of the Galion Project, a non-profit think tank that helps other entrepreneurs grow faster and become better leaders. He is also a seasoned angel investor with successful ventures in companies such as Aircall and Ubble. Benoît holds a Master of Science from Ecole Polytechnique and a Master in Management from HEC Paris. He resides in Paris, France, with his wife and three daughters.
