Edward Gerald Woodward, MD, PhD, FACOG Edward Gerald Woodward, MD, PhD, FACOG, is a retired obstetrician-gynecologist with 45 years of clinical experience. He is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds a doctorate in biochemistry. Dr. Woodward uses his scientific background and patient-focused approach to explain complex health topics like menopause, hormone replacement therapy, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. During his medical career, Dr. Woodward focused on patient education, clear communication, and helping people understand their health. He wanted patients to feel informed and supported in their care. His writing continues this goal by making complex medical topics easier to understand and more useful for patients and families. Now retired, Dr. Woodward spends his time writing and sharing his knowledge to help others improve their health. He has been married for 56 years and is thankful for his two sons, two daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren.
