Dr. Gregory T. Headen holds multiple academic degrees (B.A., M.Div., D.Min., and D.D.) and brings decades of experience as a pastor, professor, and Dean of a Divinity School. His professional service has been wide-ranging, including roles as a certified mediator, school board member, housing specialist, and Executive Director of a County Housing Authority in North Carolina. He has also contributed to theological education through his work with the Mid-Atlantic Accrediting Committee for Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). Dr. Headen’s leadership has reached across both church and community life. He has served as President of the Greensboro Pulpit Forum and as Co-chair of the Greensboro Community Truth and Reconciliation Project. His influence and commitment have been honored with numerous awards, including the Pulpit Forum’s Pastor of the Year Award, the Outstanding Alumnus Award from UNC–Pembroke, and the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, one of the State of North Carolina’s highest civilian honors. Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Headen treasures his role as a husband, father of two, and proud grandfather of five.
