I am lifelong booklover and for as long as I can remember, I have also been a writer. In my day job, I serve as the director of strategic initiatives at InterVarsity Press, where I’ve previously been an acquisitions editor and a marketing director. I've have authored, co-authored, or contributed to numerous books, devotionals, and Bibles; I've also written a bunch of articles including some seminal pieces on Asian American Christianity. But I’m now entering the space where I want to devote the bulk of my writing efforts, which is children’s and middle-grade fiction. You'll often see me speaking on the topics of race, cultural sensitivity, missional motherhood, and publishing. I'm especially committed to supporting and elevating marginalized voices. I’m married to pianist and professor Brian Lee, and we are blessed with three amazing boys.
