Jed Brody teaches physics at Emory University. He was a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin, West Africa, where he taught high school physics and chemistry in French. Physics Today published his essay, "Physics and spirituality: 'A rapturous amazement at the harmony of natural law.'" He contributed to an anthology of Science Fiction by Scientists, and he wrote two science fiction novels, The Philodendrist Heresy and The Entropy Heresy. He was once pecked in the eye by a bird while doing yoga outside.
