Hi, I’m Jude. I grew up in London, England, then spent the next few decades living and working in various countries as a bank clerk, shop assistant, accounts clerk, IT consultant, marketing manager, actor, singer in a band, personal trainer, translator, writer and editor. And that’s just the stuff I admit to. All of which should give you the idea that I have a curious mind. I’m always learning new things, looking at the how and the why behind it all. How did wolves become dogs? What’s it really like to climb Everest? How did Britain end up in a war with its own American colony? Why don’t tennis scores go 1, 2, 3… and why is it even called tennis? You get the idea. And so I decided to write the kind of books I want to read. I also decided to keep them short enough for reading or listening to during coffee breaks or while commuting. More like slices than whole pies, but with the best bits in… Jude’s Slices were born, and are now available in ebooks, paperbacks and audiobooks.
