Michael Errol Swaim is a horror and fantasy author who is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. He survived a liver and kidney transplant in 2019, and his first horror story, The Blood, originally appeared in the ezine Carnage House and now can be found in the book The Best Of Carnage House Year One. His other work appears in such places as the Horror Zine, Carnage House, Mocking Owl Roost, Weird Wide Web, and many other places, as well as over a dozen anthologies. Michael lives in Northeast Oklahoma with his wife Mandy, his kids Kurt, Jeremy, and Brianna, and his cat Wolfgirl. Absorbed By Excrement is his first solo book.
