Michael Francis is an Australian author who lives in New York. After packing up his Manhattan cubicle to start a gardening business in Connecticut, when he didn't know the first thing about gardening, he wrote his first book - 'Yards and Stripes: A Funny Book About, Work, Business and Gardening.' He then decided to learn Italian (aged 55) before traveling to Italy and inlicting his rudimentary language skills on an unsuspecting country. His many hilarious misadventures recalled in - 'Only in Italy: A Memoir of Mishap, Mayhem and Romance.' His general philosophy is - 'How Hard Could it Be?' and when it does turn out to be just as hard as he feared, and even more funny - he writes a book about it. In his more sensible moments, he has written a book that presents a valuable and detailed outline that aspiring authors can follow to write and publish a bestselling book of their own - 'Bestseller Blueprint: How to Write, Publish and Market a Book that Sells.'
