Professor emeritus Peter C. Gøtzsche, DrMedSci, MD, MSc, is a biologist and a specialist in internal medicine. Has worked in the drug industry, at hospitals in Copenhagen, and as a full-time researcher. He is a filmmaker and independent consultant, e.g. in lawsuits. Peter is the only Dane to have published over 100 papers in "the big five" medical journals, and his scientific work has been cited over 190,000 times. His greatest contribution to public health was when he, in 2010, opened the archives of clinical study reports in the European Medicines Agency after a 3-year long legal battle. Peter’s books and recent articles are listed on his homepage, Institute for Scientific Freedom. His interviews and documentaries (first two to be released in Sept 2026) can be found on the Broken Medical Science website. Among Peter’s numerous interviews, “Big Pharma is organised crime” has been seen by over a million people, and he was on The Daily Show in New York in 2014.
