RM Johnson was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. His first novel, THE HARRIS MEN was published by Simon &Schuster in 1999. He earned a bachelor of science degree from The University of Louisiana, and a master of fine arts degree in creative writing from Chicago State University. RM is the recipient of the African American Art Alliance Award for Outstanding Fiction. He has written twelve books to include his best-selling THE MILLION DOLLAR series, his young adult novel, STACIE AND COLE, and his first work of non-fiction, WHY MEN FEAR MARRIAGE. RM has just made his most recent novel, KEEPING THE SECRET available on ebook. His next book is a novel co-written with the late E. Lynn Harris, entitled NO ONE IN THE WORLD and will be published by Simon & Schuster June 7th.
