Stacey Kammerman brings over 10 years of language teaching experience and language acquisition research to KAMMS Worldwide. She uses this extensive knowledge and experience to create the most effective, comprehensive and easy to use language programs on the market. Stacey is committed to ensuring excellence and accuracy in KAMMS' job-specific language programs. All of the KAMMS' programs are developed by her team of native speaking linguists, teachers, translators and certified interpreters. Kammerman graduated from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey earning a degree in Romance Languages and Literatures and Latin American Studies. In order to enhance her Spanish language ability and to experience the culture of Latin America, Stacey lived in Costa Rica with a host family, while attending a Spanish language immersion school. Since then, she has visited and explored many other Spanish speaking countries including Mexico, Panama, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Stacey began her professional career as a Spanish language teacher in a local high school and later an elementary school. While teaching, she was asked by her school administration to create and present a Spanish language program designed for fellow educators. Stacey designed a customized program that utilized a unique language teaching technique that was extremely effective, easy and fun. The program consisted of the essential language required for teachers to communicate with Spanish speaking students and parents. It was hugely successful and Stacey began offering language training courses and consulting services to additional schools in the area. Eventually, through word of mouth advertising, numerous schools, businesses and government agencies requested Kammerman's services. The demand became so great for her customized language programs, cultural seminars and teacher training programs, that she decided to leave the teaching profession and offer her services full time. Stacey continued to offer these services for a few years until she decided to expand the company by creating job-specific language resources. In January of 2006, KAMMS released a series of audio programs for English speakers to learn the essential Spanish necessary for their profession, called "Spanish on the Job". In the second half of the year, she released another series for Spanish speakers to learn essential English for their jobs called, "English on the Job". In 2008, Stacey's relentless drive to provide resources to enhance people's lives, has led to the creation of the "Latin American Dream" plan. She hopes this platform will be the catalyst for Hispanics to reach their personal and professional goals. Kammerman is an enthusiastic leader in her community. She is the founder of the Atlantic-Cape May Chapter of NJAWBO (NJ Association of Women Business Owners). Stacey has been awarded the NJAWBO Teal Heart Award for Outstanding Service 2007, the SBDC(Small Business Development Center)Success Award 2006, the Top 10 Women in Business by South Jersey Magazine 2007 and Top 40 under 40 by Atlantic City Weekly 2008. Stacey Kammerman resides in Ventnor, NJ with her husband and three children.
