He’s never claimed to be the smartest guy in the room, but he knows how to tell a good story, especially the kind where no one gets out clean. He’s been out-served, out-drank, and out-smarted more times than he can count, and he’s learned to laugh about it. These days, you can find him limping on the sand, nursing a questionable ankle and bum knee, sipping cheap scotch, trading jokes with his friends, and quietly wondering how he got away with half the shit in his books.
