I live creatively and contemplatively at the intersection of art, social purpose, and mindful presence. My work — whether in poetry, essays, broadcast conversations, weaving, or compassionate listening — grows from one fundamental inquiry: how do we live with attention, care, and honesty in a world that often moves too fast? My creative practice is intentionally slow and tactile. I have a longstanding love of typewriters and analogue tools, drawn to their rhythm, resistance, and honesty; writing and making this way invites deep attentiveness and presence. For nearly three decades, I have also walked alongside people and organisations working to reduce inequality and uphold human dignity. This has taken me internationally — supporting communities, guiding conversations, and offering perspectives that resist simplification and honour complexity. The work has never been about being heard, but about listening well and responding with care. Along the way, my poems, essays, and conversations have found wider audiences through books and radio. My Buddhist practice infuses all of this, not as a title or identity to perform, but as a way of life. It shapes how I attend to others, how I listen, and how I sit with joy, grief, and uncertainty alike. Presence over persona; empathy over applause. Here you will find writing, reflections, creative projects, and a lived commitment to craft and compassion. You are welcome to explore at your own pace, and to stay as long as you like.
