I began writing at the age of ten, when I was given a typewriter, and I haven’t stopped since. The world of Kinthur was created in 1991, during my early college years, where storytelling and imagination collided. What started as an oral tale shared among friends eventually evolved into something larger, more vivid, and more compelling. That story became Penta Ka Wa: The Dark Gift, the first novel in a long and expanding saga. Heavily influenced by role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons and the legendary fantasy authors who shaped the genre, I’ve mapped out over 10,000 years of Kinthur’s history. Dragons, elves, gods, heroes, vampires; this world is filled with magic, mystery, and more fantastical creatures than you can throw a grimoire at. The Penta Ka Wa series was the first, as its titular character held a special place in my gaming and storytelling life. From that story The Adventurers series emerged, a spin-off prequel inspired by a memorable encounter with a diverse group of travelers, who left a lasting impact and demanded their own saga. I have recently semi-retired to Costa Rica with my wife and two dogs, and now write full time to expand the canon that has both nourished and emerged from the fantasy world I love to share.
