My first 🎧book from this author and I was pleasantly pleased with the storyline. The narration was great and Aiden Snow one of my favorites was so good his voice is HAF💋 and Allie Shae is new to my listening experience and she was pretty awesome. The story kept me invested wanting to know more of what was going to happen next as the main characters come together and fall in lust & love. The book ends rather quickly with a HFN. Is it worth a credit? Yes❣️😘

Great writing and plot! The story kept me engaged from beginning to end. Don’t expect a happy ending; it’s more of a “happy for now.” Many details are left unsaid, such as when she asked him to marry her as a little girl, which creates a gap in the story because he wonders about finding her someday. The characters never say “I love you,” only express “loyalty until death.” Be aware that the MMC is quite a jerk -dominant and abusive, to say the least. His apparent sweetness comes from being a narcissist and a sadist, manipulating the submissive F character. No honest redemption whatsoever. This woman is helpless and lacks self-awareness and determination to only fuels the jerk's behavior. The narrators did an excellent job with their performances.
