this book is just as funny and great as the last one, I cant wait for the third volume to come to audible, I heard it would come in March. I also saw there's more volumes that you can actually read, I plan to start reading the other volumes then coming back and listening to the audio books, I cant wait, I love this story!

I found this to be a fun story with interesting characters, I’d love to see more about the brothers from another country with the curses. I’m definitely curious about that situation, but also seeing her have a chance to really use her powers.

It is a bit disappointing. The story barely moved because of all the side stories and differing perspectives. I didn't mind it in the first because they weren't particularly long chapters ... but the author did too much. maybe it was just bad compiling but they should have added more for this audiobook. it spends more time with sides than the main story.
I think the main story is also hindered by the MC's inaction. She will stand still and have a conversation while people are getting hurt around her acting like she isn't in any hurry to do anything. It stalls the action and it hurts the flow of the scene.

This series is my guilty pleasure and the readers do an excellent job bringing it alive.

This remains a cute little series but I wish the author would take a writing class. Hearing the same small stretch of events from five different character perspectives several times gets old fast. If you want to handle multiple points of view, just write in third person like a big boy and be done with it.

Apart from that, the narration was good and the characters were fun. I like these low stakes stories from time to time.
