The Academy Magic bundle set includes all five books in the series full of non-stop action, adventure, magic, and irresistible romance.

Magic. Isn’t. Real.

At least that's what I thought. But now, my story is changing...

You know you’re invisible when even your bullies forget to pick on you. That’s me, Bettina Blair, hidden in plain sight. No matter how hard I try I just never fit in with my classmates.

Now I know why. I’m a witch...apparently.

One little demon attack and my parents confess their ugly secret…and ship me off to an elite academy of magic—for witches only.

I can't summon magic. I can't fight with my hands or my fists. I just don't belong here, and Jackson Lancaster keeps reminding me every single chance he gets. This boy is the most insufferable, intolerable, unbearable, judgmental person to ever have the right to be that gorgeous. I don’t care how sexy his British accent is, or that literally everyone else on campus adores him. He hates me, and the feeling is mutual.

Suddenly, I’m sent on a quest into the Old Lands to find the only thing that can save Eden from a demon invasion. I’m in way over my head, and my best chance of coming back alive lies in the hands of the guy who wants me gone…

Love the series and how the author connects the next series. Can’t wait to see how she finishes the story. I would like to see a book on more of Hope and Haven story specific towards Hope spell casting.

Love it!!!

I loved this series. There were certain parts with the parents I thought were strange and a little rushed. But overall I loved this story, the writer had my sucked in throughout the entire series.

I wish that they would’ve had a female read the female parts and the male read the male parts. It would’ve made it much much more realistic.

I liked how the storyline kept you guessing. There were enough twists to keep you highly engaged.

I love stories about magic. I have read a lot of Teen Fantasy books that are cleverly written and can keep an adult entertained. This book series is nice, it and it has a good story going so far. Unfortunately, Ms. LaVaun's overuse of certain words makes me want to stop listening every time one of them is used. An example of this is Jackson's "Aquamarine Eyes". I cringe every time she uses the word aquamarine. There are other words that can be used in lieu of, and/or the attention should not be brought to his "aquamarine eyes" every paragraph. In addition, there are other words that are used too frequently. I believe using a thesaurus in a couple of situations would have been helpful.
As far as the narrator, she does a good job but could be better at voice changes for the different characters. For example, the author has written chapters where it will be another character's point of view. If you didn't catch the beginning and do not know who is talking it can be very confusing. The voice doesn't change from male to female and hearing a male's POV is a distraction for me.
All in all, the books are ok and are a pleasant read with just a a few cringy areas.

The writing is a little annoying.
