This is my first series by this author and she didn't disappoint! The first book was hard to get into, but the story definitely picks up. So many twists and turns! I really enjoyed the pere cheney bits because I grew up and still live and work by there. Lots of locals have story's of encounters with the witch or other scary things plus it really is creepy out there so it fit the storyline perfect for me.

I loved the voice over, both name and female. The storyline was engaging but sometimes I got tired of Savannah calling Jackson a savage beast.
