In this compelling and revealing examination, author Rupert Matthews looks afresh at key episodes of alien activity on earth, and sheds light on the many mysterious phenomena associated with it. From Roswell to Taizé, the book dissects fascinating eyewitness accounts of communication and contact with alien beings, as well as chilling cases of abduction. It also sifts through sinister evidence of government cover-ups. Ten special casebooks give in-depth analysis of the most important encounters, including:

  • The pilot who saw a formation of alien aircraft
  • The Exeter Incident - chased by UFOs in the darkness
  • The Socorro Incident - solid evidence of alien activity
  • Betty and Barney Hill - abducted on Highway 3

Rigorously researched, Alien Encounters is a gripping investigation of strange events that continue to spark fierce debate. If you doubt the existence of extra-terrestrials, prepare to be convinced.

I like the conversations with the aliens the most, and their answers for wanting information

Very interesting stories. I could do without some of the most famous cases like Roswell. Would have liked more depth on conclusions and theories based on the writers years of investigation.

Interesting and entertaining

I might be able to listen to the entire book if the narrator wasn't such a boob; reading the book like it's a Shakespeare play in some chapters and in others- reading the book like he's narrating for a stupid television show. Most of the time he's shouting at the beginning of a sentence as if he's accentuating an amazing point when the point doesn't exist. He's probably the worst audio book reader i've ever heard. I'd rather read the book myself than to endure the up and down tones of his excruciating buffoonery.

would be a good audio book
