This story had my attention from first few lines. It has everything that I look for in a book, great story line, heartfelt moments, it kept me guessing at times…and the burn between Eva and Luke..dear god! 🔥 This was a new to me author, but I will look into anything else she has with writing like this…totally captivating. I won’t lie though, these narrators, they are top notch at putting you in every single feel. And there are A LOT of feels in this book! Run, don’t walk to get this.

I read this amazing book when it was first released in ebook and I was anxiously awaiting this audiobook, and it was everything I was hoping for and more. This second chance, romantic suspense with a single mom FMC and broken boy MMC, was perfectly cast with Zara Hampton-Brown and Shane East in dual narration. The heart wrenching back story, the beautiful romance, the shocking plot twist, and the tearjerking HEA (happy tears of course) will have you wishing this book would never end. 5 stars and then some.
