The fight to survive continues across the United states in book three of the best-selling Lone Survivor saga....

A month and a half on the Appalachian trail and Beth "Bluebird" Sullivan and Landon Gray thought they'd seen the worst of society. With a mysterious stranger in their midst, trouble at every turn, and miles to go, the unknown will be even more terrifying.

Back in Castine, Maine, survival is getting harder every day as martial law is imposed and loyalty tested. When Max goes missing and returns with a tale of a group who might be able to help, Deputy Daniels must decide which side of the law he's on.

All That Escapes is book three of Lone Survivor, a post-apocalyptic EMP thriller series following a group of survivors as they fight to stay alive after an EMP destroys the nation's power supply.

I was given this free review copy audio-book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This review is for the audio copy of All That Escapes, Lone Survivor, Book 3 by Jack Hunt and narrated by Miles Meili. The characters are holding true to their initial development. The story is still very entertaining, and I listened to it whenever I could. The narrator is great for this series and very easy to listen to. The book ended with a not unanticipated cliff hanger. Now I need to listen to book four!

The Series Continues, So Far So Very Good!

I didn't realize I had completely skipped Book 2 until I was a good bit in because they were referencing people they had encountered and I had no idea who they were talking about. That aside Jack Hunt did such a wonderful job writing this and referencing back to previous things that happened that I had no trouble still following along. It didn't say exactly what happened I just know something happened and it made them stronger in the end. I love this story and how much the characters have grown since book 1. Miles Meili did a wonderful job with all the characters. I REALLY hope there is a book 4!! I will probably go back later on and buy book 2 just too fill in a few gaps I'm curious about. This is wonderfully written and done so in such a way that it is very very realistic. The people they meet, the challenges they take on, the growth each and every character shows in the story and that ending. Just amazing. Jack Hunt really knows how to weave an amazing tale of life on the trail, life in a crisis and how every person reacts differently to these crisis' and take advantage of the insanity but how some places thrive and grow even stronger! This was a wonderful read and I loved getting to keep up with every person in the story and I couldn't stop listening!

This is the third in the series. At the end of the last one. The two picked up the banjo playing murderer. I could hardly wait to listen to this one. To find out what would happen. It’s an adventure for sure. Landon and Beth continue their trek to get up north. This story is quite the adventure and I love listening to it. we find out how Sara and Max are doing. FEMA shows up and it ends up causing problems for the town folk. Max makes from new friends. Mercenaries that could come in handy for the town.

This is a wonderful series and I highly recommend. I did listen to this on audio and Miles Meili does a great job.

Loved this book!

Like his others, this book is fantastic. It makes post-apocalypse home seem so far away. The action of these books is Non-Stop and even your favorite characters can hurt someone or be hurt. One can't help but root for them to find, face, and conquer their challenges

cliffhanger

One trial after another assaults our intrepid hikers. Picking up another survivor along the way they eventually realize their mistake. The brutality and reality of the story really get to me and makes me think of how I would act in such a situation. Several times I was upset at people or the actions they committed. At least Landon redeems himself in my eyes. I imagine the past several months have put some bark on him. The story is truly well written. Back in Landon’s home town of Castine, Maine local people are having enough of their own troubles. The tale shifts back and forth between our hikers and the people of Castine. Will Landon make it home? Will Beth finish the Appalachian Trail? Stay tuned for the ending is not to be missed!
