My only complaint is that there are only 2 books in the series so far. I’m totally hooked. Love the characters, the premise, the mystery, the fantasy elements - all of it. I absolutely recommend this series, if you like urban fantasy with strong female leads and a slight romantic element. The narrator did a great job! Other series that I love, for reference, are the Lindsay Buroker series that all connect, the Mercy Thompson series, multiple series by Hailey Edwards, the Kate Daniels series etc.

This is a well-written story with engaging characters and an entertaining plot. I look forward to the next book.

This book got a little redundant. I'm a bit bored with the brother and sisters looking out for each other part of the story. I got it the first time you told me! I liked the twists in this book, and the ending makes you think. All in all not as good as book one, and that's simply because I already understood the back story and didn't need to be told all that a second time.

Edward's does it again! With rich and likeable characters and the perfect amount of macro- storyline to weave the series together, this second story in the series is fiction-addiction!

There’s not quite as much humor or family shenanigans as I’d have liked, but the mystery was nicely twisty. I loved the quirky romance between Frankie and Kierce, the complex evolution of her connection to Farrow, and the real series MVP that’s Vibe the crow. The mystery here doesn’t quite standalone, so I recommend listening to book 1 first.
