The first issue I have with the start of this series is the lack of continuity. Lilly is former MI-5, yet this book has her as former MI-6.

The narrator just does not have the same panache or pizzazz as other narrators. Took almost three chapters for me to get pulled into the story.

I’ll listen to Book 2 of the series as I have an interest in the characters, but am hoping the narrator performance improves!

I’ve listened to so many books on audible but this was my least favorite narrator by far. I think the story would have seemed better if the narration was better. Not as good as I thought it would be and I have listened to all available Dan Morgan books. I will listen to the 2nd Alex Morgan book more because I’m hooked on the characters than I expect it will be good.
