At the height of the recent recession, I was 55-years-old, laid off from my job, and running short on hope. To cover our bills, my husband took on a second full time job while I found a roommate to rent out our spare bedroom. Every day our faith was tested as our prayers went unanswered. I was convinced that if I kept believing and held strong in my faith, that eventually God would answer our prayers. Little did I realize there would be plenty of twists and turns along the way. This is a story about the power of faith, God, and the blessings that come our way when we least expect them to.

One of my favorite stories. It just clicks and hooks the reader from the start. Everyone can relate to hardships like this couple had to go through. The narrator gave a staggering performance. Easy to just sit back and listen to this beautiful story.

Interesting, when other see, what they have lost, and living on the razor edge.They seem lost and without plans.Grace and Steven dugged deeper in to their faith, and living on hope. Open to the possibility of change in a.big way. If losing good paying jobs, to doing work as when they were younger still didn't get them down. Trusting God would open doors. Also of interest is this strong faith was evident in Christopher their son, looking at the future and life in Italy. Though even young, his eyes was on the future.and life with his fiancé. The narration by Betty.June was good, readers will enjoy her reading this. Was GivenARC audio for an voluntary review and my honest opinion

I absolutely loved this story. the author relayed the information to her readers with clear and concise storytelling. The talent of the narrator made this a truly enjoyable listen.

Difficult times that called for making difficult choices and struggling to accept what comes.
This story helps the reader to remember that everyone has tough times but if we can look for the positives and keep our faith strong, we can make it through.
There may be rewards on the other side of dark days.
