Mmm… I can say I really like Troy Duran’s performance for David. Veronica Parker narrated Charlie well but I just wasn’t feeling her as much I was Troy. Their narration together was enjoyable enough but I feel that Troy was the one that shone bright. I couldn’t stop listening even though I’ve read the book. It was a whole new experience. The steam between the characters is fire and the chemistry is on point.

Troy was a great choice for David!

So many twist and turns. I could not put this one down. You should start from the beginning of the series so you can follow everything that is going on. I love David and Charlie’s story. Wish it wouldn’t have taken David so long to grieve and come to terms with everything. Be we all work at a different pace. You must add this one to your TBR!!

I forgot how boring book 1 was, that FMC, Eve, just bored me. However, this book is where this series starts to pick up speed and if I am now remembering correctly just gets better and better. This book starts to create the entire universe with more characters and more interactions not just constant internal monologues. It makes for a much richer reading experience.

So much better than book 1!!
