I found Reed and loved him more than I loved myself. We were young...beautiful...entitled. Money and private schools, our families' lavish parties, and posh New York City apartments - it was all mere window dressing. What was real was our obsessive love, which grew right along with us as we moved toward adulthood. It consumed me, and only in his arms did I feel wanted and safe. But I have a secret. It's big and, to some, unforgivable. And it's why I let Reed destroy me, or maybe I destroyed us. Either way, I'm worse than broke - I'm broken. Once upon a time, we were happy...but privilege has an ugly underside, and in the blink of an eye, my world crashed down around me. I don't feel entitled anymore.

The Entitled is the first in The Entitled duet. The story concludes in The Enlightened.

A BITCH! normally I cheer for the heroin but I'd like to take this poor little misunderstood miss in a back alley and beat the shit out of her! How does she have all these people's. sympathy? can't they see she's the reason that Reed is so messed up all the time? that and his family sides with her instead of him.

Ok, not the normal adj in a review but What

The only thing I didn’t like was when the male narrator talked in a woman’s voice. But everything else was good. Ended on a cliffhanger. About to start the next book

So good

I read this book a couple years ago.... and freaking LOVED it then. My excitement to hear that it as coming to audio was off the charts! I have been wanting to re-read this duet for a long time but wasn't finding the time to. It was everything that I was hoping for and all I remembered! I fell in love and had my heart broken with Reed and Tess all over again! And even though I knew darn well what was going to happen it STILL gutted me! And that cliffhanger still infuriated me! I think that Virginia Rose is the PERFECT Tess! She is exactly what I imagined Tess would sound like.... and Liam Dicosimo really nailed that role of an entitled, domineering man...... and now I am counting down the days until I can get the conclusion in my ears!!! I. CAN'T. WAIT!!!! 💖

I have SO much LOVE for Reed and Tess!!!

Male narrator sounds 70 years old and acting the part of a teenager. That doesn’t work for me. Why do producers not think about this when choosing narrators. I began listening to audiobooks a year ago and try to choose stories carefully. I have a list of none appealing narrators, the list of favorite ones is longer. That’s a good thing. Duet narration would have made it so much better.

Story Great - Male Narrator Voice -NA

The story is pretty good however, it seemed like it was drug out. Also, the teenagers roles were more that of people in their twenties. The seemed way more mature than that of 14, 15, 18 year olds during the past scenes. I have 4 boys and I can tell you none of them acted that way during those ages. Plus all the reviews I have read everyone was bashing Tess, I thought Reed was a spoiled controlling butt. The story could be better if done in dual narration but it was also very long and had way too many fillers. Now it goes into another book. This book could have been cut in half then joined with the other book. Liam did pretty good on the narration however, he cannot do female voices. Virginia Rose is one of my least favorite female narrators. She is whining plus her voice sounds too old for the ages she tries to portray. She just has a whining, nagging voice. I have to take breaks during her scenes. Trying to decide if I want to listen to the next book. I have listened to all of Cassandra's other books that is why I thought I would go back to this series since all her books seem to be connected.

LONG STORY LINE
