The vampire story wasn’t my favorite with the other storyline going on at the same time it was a little too much. Overall I still liked the book.

I loved the family story and her journey to feeling better near death experiences can take awhile.

This book definitely changed the flow of this series. We enjoyed it a lot. The added characters and turn of the story are all very good.

Most of the time the narrator does a good job but for some of these men especially Tom and uncle Jack and some of the other southern men it’s almost unbearable.

The stories are amazing, the narrator however is terrible. All the women constantly sound like they are either on the verge of laughing or about to cry. The men.... ugh. Tom sounds like he has some sort of speech issue or is trying to speak VERY SLOWLY so that someone can follow, lol. Same with Uncle Jack. it's just painful to listen to. If you can get past that, the story, as are all the stories in this series, is great!

this narrator is just awful

I love Wendy’s books….but the story telling on Audible is hard to listen to. Especially when the narrator speaks as Tom Sharon…I’m a South Carolinian and the men do not speak that slow here.
