Venture through the portal, slay the mighty beasts, save the world.

Hard work, perseverance, and a limited social life prepared Daniel for the next stage of his life. After a move to Florida, he's forced to start over right when world experiences a phenomenon like no other.

Portals connect Earth to an unknown planet where monsters roam. What's worse, when they come through to our side, their ferocity and mass increases. The world's militaries rush forward, gun down the mutated beasts, and secure Earth. That all changes when the portals shift with additional rifts opening. Suddenly, humanity is scrambling to find a new normal with societies not accustomed to monsters on the loose.

A few brave souls venture onto the other side in an effort to unravel the mystery and stop the portals. They're met with stat screens, levels, mystifying pillars, lovely locals, and a world filled with Behemoth Monsters.

the start to a phenomenal new portal series. the way the MC gets roped into staying his adventure had me getting weird looks from my coworkers from laughing so hard. the are a couple things in the book that's unclear but still highly recommended

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I hope there are more books to come in this series! The MC is great along with a really good supporting cast! The story is captivating! The narrators also do a good job of bringing the story to life! Great job Marcus Sloss and Stoham Baginbott!

Classical dungeon dive and power up your team! You quickly become enveloped into the story. All too quickly the episode is over and you want the next one!

Good start for a new series!

The story idea was good but to have a high school student with no special power or any divine gifts be the mc when our entire world has the same opportunity. To believe that all the world governments and every civilian had the same power that the UN and governments and a military general help this kid and not do the same. When massive fortune is available this would never happen. Without any explanation to why this is too far fetched to get into following this HS students journey

This was a nice change of pace from what I'd been listening to.
The portals to another world are appearing on ours and the MC and his eventual harem are taking out the monsters on the other side so they don't come over to ours.
Great story and an entertaining listen.
I give this book 7.5 out of 5 stars.
