Victoria Laurie is a an awesome author and Elizabeth Michael's is an excellent narrator. I find myself actually believing the character is real half the time. Truly enjoy the books! D Malaise

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. It has a little bit of everything, thrill, funny, very good plot, and more. I really enjoyed it. Great narrator too.

Wasn't disappointed with this light read. Not a deep plot, and Abby is a bit quirky but still enjoyable on a long trip where I needed to grin at some of the strange decisions she made, and the trouble she managed to get in.

Another Funny and Quirky Book

In the first book we were introduced to Abby and in this book we get to know her better. I expected we get to know her romantic interest Dutch as well, but instead we learn more about his ex-partner Milo.

I liked it more than the first book since the character is more developed and the plot more interesting. Also at the beginning "lair lair pants on fire" rant was really annoying especially when you are listening to the audiobook but you get used to it. When you hear that you know people are lying.

This is the second book of the series and both stories are well written! The narration makes the character sound like she is 70 and annoyingly daffy or dingy. Listen for the story or save yourself the annoyance and read the book
