Well, I'm only two thirds of a Pet these days, but you might as well call me Pet anyway. Everyone does: everyone but the vampire, that is.

Life is more unbalanced these days - cases are cutting closer to home than usual. I thought I was the only one, but there are others like me: kids whose parents were murdered just like mine. Stuff that never fit into place before is beginning fall into place.

And my psychos are getting really weird. I mean, they've always been weird, but now they're getting weirder.

I really find this series entertaining. The characters are engaging and the plot twists keep me wanting to read more. I will likely finish this whole series.

if you are new to the series, start with Between Jobs. Either way you are in for a treat!

I have read this book a couple times and hearing it narrated just makes it even better.
Zehra Jane Naqvi does an amazing job bringing each character a distinct personality and voice and emoting exactly what you feel as you read.
This combination of awesome author and narrative makes for a delightful experience and each book in the series just builds excitement. Buy them all, in any format... I have and I plan to revisit this one again!

These books just get better with each installment. I was caught by the ludicrous humor and stay for the character development. Nicely done!

This particular series is my favorite of all genres and all time: I love the writing, the characters, the world(s), the narration - just everything. The only problem is waiting for the whole series to come to audible!

Start at the beginning. To paraphrase the old potato chip saying, I bet you can’t read just one:-)
