A VETERAN WITH A HEART OF GOLD AND THE WOMAN HE NEVER SAW COMING.

Former Special Forces Operative Bradyn Hunt may have traded a battlefield for his family ranch in Texas, but that doesn’t mean he stopped fighting.

As the founder of Hunt Brother's Search and Rescue, he and his team take on missing persons cases that no one else can solve. They’ve retrieved people from the very depths of hell-on-earth, which has left him with his fair share of scars.

Kennedy Smith has had many names and lived many different lives as she runs from her past, her only goal surviving long enough to see the next sunrise. Her most recent identity is as a ranch hand in a small, North Texas town.

Run by Army veterans, she figures there’s no better place to hide than the Hunt family ranch. That is until she begins to grow attached to the eldest Hunt brother, Bradyn. She should run, after all, not getting attached is rule number one to staying alive. But before she can bring herself to leave, the threat shows up on her doorstep, dragging Bradyn right into the flames alongside her.

Bradyn has saved the lives of hundreds of people, but can he protect Kennedy from the ghosts of her past? Or will her secrets burn everything he’s built to the ground?

If you’re looking for a swoony romantic suspense with a protective hero who lives by faith, a team of brothers who follow God, and a woman fighting to survive, then BRAVO is just what you’re looking for!

I really loved the storyline, plot, and characters in Bravo. The camaraderie between the brothers was one of my favorite parts, and I absolutely adored their sister—Laney (or possibly another L name). She was such a bright, positive presence, and I truly hope the author gives her a book of her own.

I’m a big fan of military romantic suspense, but after a while some series in this genre can start to feel redundant and predictable. Bravo felt refreshing in that regard. Kennedy was a strong, well-written female lead, and I appreciated her growth and the way she found her faith by the end of the story.

That said, I did feel the faith element was a bit overdone at times—almost to the point of feeling forced. I believe in Nobody but God, but I think the story could have benefited from a lighter touch in that area. A little less would have gone a long way.

As for the narration, while this was dual narration, these weren’t my favorite narrators. That said, they still did the story justice and improved as the book went on—either they found their stride, or I simply adjusted to their voices. Overall, the performances didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the story. No matter, I will contine this series because it is the only one i have found with more than one narrator. I dont listen to single narrated stories. Not unless it is an amazing narrator like Sebastian York, Teddy Hamilton, Jacob Morgan, Jason Clarke, Erin Mallon, and Andi Arndt, just to name a few.

All in all, Bravo was an engaging and enjoyable military romantic suspense with strong characters, great dynamics, and a solid storyline—definitely worth the listen.

I think I found a new author

I loved the plot and the characters! Now I'm hooked on the series!
I'll be honest though, I really don't think the male narrator fits the male characters at all. It's a big detractor for me. I was hoping that the next book had a different voice for the lead male figure, but unfortunately not.

Great story! Need a new male narrator though...

Love everything about this book except the male narrator. He sounds like he's doing a Trump impersonation while doing the voices.

Great Story!
