This book verges on pedo vibes with a grown older man who falls in love with a boy of 17 who he saved from sex trafficking. This is not ok. I honestly was not able to get far into it because of this issue. However there was no building of the environment, other than the parts that allowed for one MC to go crazy with obsession and jealousy.
Sorry just not a good book.
