I have listened to or read each book in this series. Leslie Meier has done a great job of keeping the characters and this series fresh and engaging. This is an entertaining addition to the series and I look forward to the next book.

If was annoyed how much description was in the story. The real story didn’t seem to happen till the final chapters. The voice was also annoying as her rhythm was the same for several characters. This was the book for my book club.

I really wanted to love this story, but the author once again had to add leftist propaganda: conservatives are bad, police kill black people, 2A is bad,

The performance by the narrator is excellent and the story was OK. I did enjoy hearing about parts of England and the old terms people used.
