Very nice short love story with instant attraction with a HEA after obstacles are overcome. I love that they were able to overcome the odds and make it work

A chance encounter between the two, sparks a slow burn flame that is a joy to read. Jolie has a way of bringing so much life to her characters using wit, snark and hilarious situations that simply make you fall in love with her stories. I enjoyed listening to the story. The narrators were great and ensnared my attention.

Other than the rushed ending, I loved the story and will read more of the series. With that said, I wished I would have read it myself instead of listening through Audible because the narration detracts from the story. The female narrator sounds like a robot during most of the female parts but does great with the male parts. the male narrator does great with the male parts but sounds like he's reading to a child when he read the female parts. (Many of the other books have amazing narrators. This just fell flat.) I definitely recommend reading this book, others in the series, and anything by this author.
