Holland Delviss wants to be known for her talent as a hockey player, not a hockey player who happens to be a girl. But when her school team is selected to be featured and televised as part of HockeyFest, her status as the only girl on the boys’ team makes her the lead story.

Not everyone is thrilled with Holland’s new fame, but there’s one person who fiercely supports her, and it’s the last person she expects (and definitely the last person she should be falling for): her bossy team captain, Wes.

Ever since I was in high school, this has been my comfort book. It's cute and cheesy in the best way. One of my favorite fixes for hockey romance.

From a fellow Minnesota hockey player & YA book lover, this book is amazing. Makes me miss hockey!

This book was just ok. I'm doing a book battle and the theme is sports and it fit into a summer reading challenge, so I went with it. It's definitely a young adult love story. I don't think I would have even liked this book in high school, it was so immature. Maybe junior high. It was so sappy. The main character was just frustrating. It got a couple books marked off for my challenges, but not sure if it was worth it or not. I listened to it on Audible. The narrator was fine, but I sure felt myself drifting away on many occasions and it's ok you can skip sections and be ok.

Way too Juvenile
