I get so wrapped up in this series that I just give five stars because I can’t wait to get to the next book, I apologize. I enjoy the wit and humor. The romance scenes are getting better for me because they’re done tastefully and I don’t fast forward like I do in other books because intimacy it’s kind of private for me. I really enjoy Violet’s vocabulary and she snd other characters frequently makes me laugh out loud. I love the dialoguing that you do with peoples thoughts which can be very entertaining, especially when Violet is talking to The man with all the funny hats that is turning into one of the main characters. All the other characters are unique and I like the way she spins all their different stories. I am a reader not a writer.

I enjoy this series and enjoyed this short, 47 page, story about how Zoe and Reed met, while he is out cold on the floor accidentally of course. The narrator, Lisa Larsen, is terrific. The story is short but like all of Ann Charles' stories keeps you listening and enjoying. Can't wait for the next full book. Now on tho Book 3 in Shorts.

Would you consider the audio edition of Cold Flame to be better than the print version?

I would recommend this audio series, because it's funny, romantic and can be a bit scary. If you like Charlaine Harris's series True Blood, you'll like this author. Granted, this series doesn't have Vampires and Wolves, but they can be quite graphic/gory, suspenseful, thrilling and as I said, scary.

I loved getting a glimpse of zoey and reid's meeting and journey to the now. An absolutely explosive couple and so fun to see interact with each other.
